Amanda Bunk-Sizemore, CPA, President
Amanda graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Accounting Degree in 2004. She earned her Master of Accountancy from The University of North Florida in December 2010 and her Master of Business Administration in 2021 from Southern New Hampshire University. She became a Certified Public Accountant and licensed within the State of Florida since 2013.
Amanda started her public accounting career in high school, working during school holidays. She now has over 15 years of full-time experience working at Jacksonville based firms, taking on responsibilities of bookkeeping, payroll, corporate and individual tax returns. Amanda is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro.
Amanda joined the firm in 2010, focusing on tax preparation and bookkeeping. In 2015 she became a junior partner and took on the responsibilities for the bookkeeping and payroll departments, along with her continued corporate and individual tax preparation. She recently has had the opportunity to become the owner of the firm.
Amanda is a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi and served as its Treasurer while attending Jacksonville University. Amanda has also volunteered in several positions within her church, including spending 18 months serving a mission in Denver, Colorado. Amanda is a proud Navy wife and currently serves as the ombudsman for the USS Maryland (738) Gold Crew.
Jamie Capehart, Staff Accountant
Jamie received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017 and his Masters of Accountancy in 2021. Before starting his accounting career, he worked at Ring Power as a parts consultant for 7 years. He then joined Lift Power as a parts consultant and was later promoted to the position of Assistant Parts Manager. While at Lift Power, Jamie was responsible for streamlining and improving all month-end and year-end reporting procedures. Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and serves in the local congregation of his church. Jamie joined Maige Sizemore in July of 2018.
Robert L. Maige, Founding Partner
Robert L. Maige, founding partner of the firm, passed away in May 2018. Robert became a Certified Public Accountant in 1980 and started his public accounting career at the Tampa office of Ernst & Young.
Robert entered private practice in 1991, offering tax services to individuals and business in Jacksonville. In 2000, he assisted a client in transitioning into a publicly-traded company and served as their Chief Financial Office for one year. He has since devoted his practice entirely to public accounting.
Robert was dedicated to his work and his family. He is survived by his wife of 24 years and his loving daughter. Robert will be greatly missed by all of those who had the privilege of working with him.
